Oceanside’s commuter trains make getting to Los Angeles and San Diego a breeze. The Coaster Commuter runs from Oceanside to San Diego every day. Metrolink travels to Anaheim and Los Angeles, and Amtrak offers a scenic ride as it travels through Oceanside on its way to San Diego in the south and San Luis Obispo in the north. You can catch all these trains at the Oceanside Transit Center, located just two blocks from the beach.
